Honda CB1000R

Post by markc » 29 Apr 2015, 09:38

After a CB1000R for my cousin, budget 5k cash. Has his heart set on hrc or repsol colours :| .
Missed a few now for his budget, either sold the same day as posted or can't get to the other end of the country in time to collect, so know they can be had.
Know some on here are pretty good on used bikes so if you hear or see anything of interest get in touch please, ta.

He's said he's looking for a "CB1000R" not a CBR1000...

On yer bike is a decent place like and a good set of lads in the showroom and clothing dept and if ur cheeky wit haggling they will give u a decent discount on kit when purchased with the bike always nice. But a bit of a twa* to get too if ur hoping to go down on ur own and get it

Hi Bud - I've got a CB1000R (not for sale!) and am a member of the owners forum - you're looking at up to £6k now (with summer coming) for a tricolour or Repsol jobbie with reasonable (low) miles on - the less popular colours (09/10) are about £5k with some mileage on them.

£4-4.5k will get you a high mileage 'other colour' requiring a little work / cleaning up.

You CAN get what you want for less, but you'll need to play a waiting game and be prepared to travel. It goes without saying that Autumn and Winter are the best hunting periods.

This one looks more promising, but is being bid on (and is in Swansea!):

Keep looking and good luck - Private via Ebay is your best bet - you've a poorer chance via a bike shop...!
