I'm running it all summer as is. If I fall in love with it or someone else does then it will survive. I've been wanting to make that specific CR for at least 6 years. IMHO it's not quite tidy enough for a Polish n service. Cracked plastics and bent brackets won't matter once the grinder comes out. ImageImage

I've started the modifications already. Pod filters and a slip on exhaust along with +4 main jets in the soon to be ultrasonic cleaned carbs. I've been informed that without a dyno it's gonna run shit. We'll see. Any know a local tuner that can do carb model bikes ? Image

Can't help or add anything, but just wanted to say I'll watch the thread with interest... Keep the updates coming (if you can be arsed) - they'll be read :)

Aussie Mike, i believe he’s in Leigh somewhere. I’ll get onto my uncle for his details.
Failing that, Mike @ MW racing- rainford, dab hand with ewt carb’d :)

Asked around, apparently he’s at MMC.

Glen at KJM is great with carbs, ask nicely and he may work in it outside of work for less £.

Failing that, the old Honda Ormskirk shop has a good tuner, can’t remember his name but they are decent guys and don’t charge the earth.
