Front Brakes Rubbing
I'm having a bit of a problem with my front brakes, It's only started since weekend when I took the bike on a proper run out. When I lift the front up I can hear it when I rotate the wheel, any ideas on how I can fix this or what things can I check to see the cause?

Hearing the pads on the disc is normal.
They should still allow the wheel to spin freely though.

It doesn't stop the wheel spinning but it does feel like it's slowing it down a bit and I can hear it when I'm riding and let off the throttle.lee wrote:Hearing the pads on the disc is normal.

Might be a sticking calliper pin or piston.
Do a quick google of how to strip and clean.

Seized bobbins also cause this. Clean and rotate them ( hot soapy water and a screw diver)

Thanks for the advice fellas, I'll service the caliper at the weekend and let you know how it goes and my disc doesn't have seem to have bobbins (CBF125, unless I'm missing them)

Get the pads (2) out and clean them with a you sisters tooth brush and water making sure the bore in the bottom and all the edges are clean and free of grime and flaky build up.
Ensure pin (11) (9) & (8) are all clean in the same way.
Remove gaitor (10) and clean (14) . Grease with copper slip the shaft that passes through (10)
Check gaitors (10) & (1) for splits, tears or swelling. Replace if necessary.
Check there is a +1mm deep ridge in the lining material or +2mm in total. Replace if less.
Grease with copper slip the bore in the bottom of (2) and the pin that passes though it.
Lightly grease with copper slip the inside of the horse shoe at the top of (2).
Exercise the pistons pressing them both fully back in to the calliper and easing them out with the brake lever, but not too far.
Re-assemble.
Before riding, pump the brake up with lever against the disc.
If you need to change the pads, ensure you relieve the pressure in the system.
Put your sisters best white coat over the tank.
Undo the cap in the top of the master cylinder.
Press the pistons back in the calliper all the way home.
Don't worry if a little brake fluid spits out. The coat will protect your tank.
Re-seal the master cylinder cap.
Re-assemble callipers and re-fit.
Pump up the pads against the disc and test ride.
Think that's it. Good luck.

That's great thanks very much! Hopefully there's no split gators as I won't have any to hand and I doubt I'll be getting any on a Friday evening.
