welding an exhaust?

Any suggestions as to how prepare the area for welding muchly appreciated. If the weld fails it could mean the difference between scrapping the bike and moving on to the next bit.

To prep it just give it a good wash and then if you can get you have a cordless drill use that with wire brush attachment as for welding can't help you there sorry gutted it got stolen and to top it of you had to pay to get it back

I have a mig that you can use I would offer to weld it for you but my welding skills go as far as yes I can weld it but will it look nice he'll no its a dark art

hey smudge. Ty. I'll take you up on that. I did some welding in college years ago. I'm happy to give that a go. I built my own armatures for full life size sculptures in clay. a lot of weight. I got a pass. I thank you. let me know what I can do for you. :)

No I'm more helping others than to abuse them..I was going to suggest he could borrow it over a few days so not to rush it
