Took the blade out today

Post by MassDestruction » 28 Jan 2016, 20:43

First chance I've had since I bought it in November it was dry and warm ish!! Well I am used to riding twins and I thought it would be weird but I was surprised by the bloody power I don't know why anyone needs all them ponies !!

Yes that's right I said it, wtf would you want with bikes that have over 200bhp I've no idea. All my biking life I've strived to squeeze every last bit of HP out of my motors, not sure if I'm getting old or what but I won't know until I do Jerez in March just how I feel but I have to say the blade us bloody fast !!!

I find it fun getting by with a 1/4 of them, and like PCH. probably rarely use all of those.

Believe me, every time I get a spanking new sports bike, I use every one of those ponies available to me.
I pull onto the motorway slip road, keep it in first, pin the throttle to the stop...and bounce off the rev limiter to see what it can do, just to enjoy the colourful lights that light up the dashboard and to annoying traffic in the outside lane Image

Think the fire blade did around 90 mph in first. I ride like a knob to prove I've got a big one! Image ha ha ha

Err, it only takes around 30 ponnies to go a ton on a motorcycle.

I got my first litre bike yesterday and went for a little blast, it was raining by the time I got it , I managed to get the rear spin up on me in 4th something my street triple would never do
I will have to take it easy and take my time getting used to the extra power but it's fun!
