Solar Panels

Post by MR SLIKE » 21 Jul 2015, 18:22

Anybody here got solar panels, we have been selected to have free ones, obviously we won't get the feedback tariff but get some free electric through the day, just wondering if we come to sell the house whether it will effect the sale, or will it effect mortgage etc, if anyone knows please advise, cheers all :-)

Been looking into it myself. Seems if you sell the house you can retain the rights to the panels.

The free electric would be at a time when we don't use much, so looking to put them up myself to get the feed in tariff. Costs will decide it though

Binned the free solar panel idea, guy came round tonight. Top guy actually. Got a few contacts from him for other things. If I'm having solar panels I'm buying my own :-)

Not had one as yet but he estimated around £6000. But I'm gonna hopefully be moving in next 12months, if I get enough for mine I'll stick them on the new house I'll buy.

I'm looking asap, there is a chance the feed in tariff will be even lower or even non existent next year

I'm due to get a quote soon, I'll share details, but £6000 is the lowest I've had so far too, going up to over £10k (robbing pricks)

This might be of interest to you
