MOT Certificate

Hi Chaps!
I have taken my private plate off my car as I am selling it, so just wondering do you need to get a new MOT certificate with the replacement reg plate on or can you leave it as is?

Automatic estate +2L with cruise control and AC, 05 plate or later - 100k?
