Been to the NEC.
Looked at some bikes
Sat on a few.
Came home.

What did you think overall? We went Sunday, wasn't too impressed & expensive. The only thing that got my attention was the Tiger 1200, the kitted up one on the stand.

Enjoyed the £1.50 King sized cornish pastie from the Corish Bakery.

Did you get to hang around the BMW stand and tell everyone they were misguided and foolish if they bought one. Surely a prime opportunity to do it in real life, rather than internet trolling.

I had a chat with a guy from BMW on the stand... about the headlights on the XR, really bad... and he agreed.

Been lurking for a snipe have we? I did have a perusal over the BMW stand. Actually sat on one too. The ergonomics are still wonderful. Probably the best time to buy is right now. Probably be 10% more next year and maybe more after Brexit with trade tariffs. Of course current owners will pay heavily for parts in the future if that happens. However, HD parts might get cheaper if we strike an FTA deal with the states. Can see you on one of them.
