Table (amazing engineering)

Post by Clarkey » 05 Apr 2015, 08:35

Maybe I'm getting old to say this about a table, but what amazing design and engineering.

If I was disgustingly rich (which I'm obviously not!) I'd simply have to have one...

The clever guy was Robert Duke in 1835, who came up with the original idea, he designed it without the aid of CAD and a designer. He also had to make all the parts by hand.
Now that's clever. :D

Seen one of these before, an original, as part of my cabinet making course.
