been there and done that Mark…….weird how you can't wait to off load them, but when the time comes …lol, you dont want them to go !!! She will love it .

Got a feckin big hole in my back tyre just outside Ruithin, plugged it and limped home. Massive thanks to the 20+ bikes that rode straight past without even a thought to the (possibly) stranded biker at the side of the road with his helmet, gloves and jacket off with tools out on the floor

. But respect to the 2 car drivers who stopped to see if they could offer assistance, very thoughtful.

Capped off a good biking weekend - yesterday pulled a full dayer with a trip up through the Trough of Bowland then from Lancaster up to Penrith (all on back roads) cut into the lakes and then over to Keswick (lunch at the Filling Station) - back down to Lancaster and back through the trough ...fantastic weather and roads and not much traffic (apart from a couple of car muppets who tried to murder me...)

...had a tootle over Darwen and up to Rivvy (packed) today for lunch and then cruised back through Anglezark and via Bacup ...

The season's closing in, but some good mileage and head clearing !

Last minute decision for a ride today.

Hooked up with a local group, and had a guided tour of a few cafe's. Last one being Crossgates.

Had a fun fuelled day today and I must say I didn't need any fuel at first stop. Could of possably done the full route without but some twisty bumpy Road stole a lot of it
