M6.. I give up
Re: M6.. I give up
Ok it a motorway drive in a straight line and don't hit the car in front.
Not hard we we do seam to struggle. I commute to Carlisle and it takes me 1 hr 45 minutes to cover the 100 miles it took 15 minutes less to commute to Manchester 20 miles away!

I did the same for exactly the same reason. I travel the M6 warrington to Birmingham every other week.Cabernet wrote:One of the reasons we have switched to automatic cars.
Constant clutch feathering and gear changing in congested traffic.
Believe I am a better motorist for the change too.
Far more patient and forgiving.
Lately I've been making use of Virgin Trains - far more relaxing, less tiring and guaranteed journey time

Just an 04 plate C5 2.0 diesel auto 5 door. Just ideal for rattling down to parents in Essex, dragging the bike to track days and hauling a caravan. Around town, tend to use Mrs C's.rumpoldstilskin wrote:what car have you got Kev? )
