I wear one when i'm doing a motorway commute- i have seriously never seen such poor standards of driving anywhere else than our motorways.
If its not people texting/facefucking/calling whilst driving they are drifting all over the show or doing 80mph with a caravan on tow.
I don't bother locally as its generally too built up to speed, i think my 45 minute car commute is only down to about 40 minutes on the bike.

Well worth it for insurance purposes though.

Keep the speed for the track, the continent and closed roads...... Everywhere else- just be noisy, really noisy :)

We all ride like angels that's not a problem, but when in a group and we'll if someone wants to have some fun I don't want to be the guy that may be made to handover sd card

I think Smudger was referring to motorcycling like angles. However I am, and I am sure others are, glad you are under no illusion of yourself.

You rode like a saint when you were with us that one time; I tend to ride like a pipe smoking vicar when I'm in a group, but only so I can scoff and scold all the young whippersnappers who dare try ride like I do when I'm out of sight (and earshot). ImageImageImage

Smoke a pipe kids, it's cool! Image
