Customs exhausts

Post by rumpoldstilskin » 18 Aug 2015, 13:50

Anyone know of anyone/anywhere in the northwest besides pipewerx, quill and MTC that have mandrel bending facilities who could make these;

a set of exhaust as below (high level oldskool scrambler type)
Basic rough dimensions are standard bore from exhaust port with 180 degree bend flared to 2" with a 15/20 degree (ish) bend with a side on slash cut. No silencer just DB killers. In stainless.

MTC quoted too much and Pipewerx said they can't do it.

Bought myself a mandrel instead and will start fabricating my own. Just need to find a decent used TIG welder.
MTC have done a lot of work for me in the past and very good work, quick turn around and low prices, just think he's taken on too much recently with the move and so has priced a
Litter higher.

Inc the mandrel minus the TIG welder i've got all the materials for £130 invluding the 180' mandrel bent stainless sections for the headers. Have to add a collar and weld that to make the header connection and its pretty plain sailing. Might buy a 2" flaring tool to make the end a flared slash
