So the sd is in need of new boots.
Its been running dunlops excellent sportsmart 2.
Now I also have dunlops on the cbr but they are the more road oriented roadsmart 2.

To be honest there is almost nothing between them in grip.
But the roadsmarts offer a bit more feel in the wet and last longer.

So I thought id bang a set on the ktm.
But they have offered a set of the new pr4's for another £20.

Reviews are excellent.

Anyone using them?

I have one on the back and had no problems with that and I'm due a new tyre on the front so that's what I'm going for... I was talking to a lad the other day. He has them on his z1000 and said they are the best he's used and you get fantastic miles out of them

I had PR3s on my SV before I sold it, transformed the way it rode. Great tyres! A couple of mates have PR4s and rate them highly.

Running a PR front and PR 3 rear on the V11.
Great tyres dry on track or road.
Going from dry to damp or wet they also perform well.
Go out from cold in the wet and they"re shite.

Ive had these (and the corsa version).
I can thoroughly reccomend the sportsmart on the sd next time you change.
Id be getting another set if it wasnt for the commuting I do on it.

Just had PR4 s fitted and they've transformed the handling on my bike. Only done 150 miles so may just be the new tyre feel. Great reviews though - I did a lot of reading before I coughed up.

I've got the pr4s on my street triple and they are a stunning tyre to use, seems to be less flex/movement than the pr3s had and confidence at any temp any weather is spot on
