I got done at 97 on a motorway just over 5 years back , I got a court summons and just pleaded guilty by post because it was South Wales , ended up with a £350 fine and 5 points

Bad news - hopefully you might just get the 3 points - was it on the M6 toll road itself or after on the regular M6 ?

All depends on the officer who stops you and the magistrate if you go court.

If he didnt deal with it at the roadside then your most likely going court.

3-6 points and a nice fine id say.

All this automatic this n that is bollocks.

I got pulled at over twice the limit on a national and the guy was spot on.
Got three points at side of road and was on my way.

30mph over any limit is where the trouble begins.

This was on the M6 toll road? That's a real bummer as most vehicles on there cane it as it's virtually empty.
