I doubt I'd be able to afford the deposit...ever - the entry form it seems puts you in the pile for a 'consultation' - if they select you for what appears to be an 'interview' and I assume you 'pass' only then is your order accepted ( if any are left once the likes of Jay Leno and Keanu Reeves get sorted !) ....

really making a fuss out of it aint they ? prob scared that people will buy then sell on for a profit !! that will happen anyway ..but they must have a few quid stashed away to be able to get one in the first place !!!

Tom Cruise will be another buyer ..we will need a lowered version though ..

Meh.
Makes less power than any of the litre bikes (less than 160bhp in normal trim!)
My old R1 made more over ten years ago.
So after the initial price of over £100, 000, you need the optional "sport kit" to release the rest of the ponies.

Even then its only up to the same as the rest of the current superbike crop.

Ok.
Maybe its super exotic and weighs nothing?

But a panigale weighs in about 5kg less....

The only reason I can see to buy one is cos its exclusive.

I think its a bit disappointing.
Ducati already did this fuckin years ago with the desmosedici.

...to be fair the people who are buying are most likely to :

(i) never ride them
(ii) potter around at 30mph with annual mileages of about 30 miles ...

I don't think power will be the issue ...as you say exclusivity !

yep agree these won't get ridden much ,,my friend bought a desmocedici for 44k never rode it and it sold for 52k !

at some time the bikes price have to max out so its a case of knowing when to cash in ..i couldn't justify spending huge bucks on a bike and having it wrapped up in cotton wool , i like to ride what i own

Did you also see the bit about having to keep it in a temperature controlled environment?

...it's not really 'motorcycling' is it ? More like commodity trading but in something that looks quite cool...
