i have ridden both and the Yam makes me smile, the ER made me feel bored.

I agree with CRM , test the MT07 before you go diving into a GSXF decision ..absolutley nothing wrong with the Suzuki the MT07 or even the MT07 are the bikes to have at present …superb reviews right across the board

Had a test ride on the gsxf and found it really bland, finish is typical Suzuki poor as well.

MT09 Tracer? Much better bike than the Suzuki.

My wife rides a 650f

Image

Wife likes the riding position sporty rather than racy. It's a stable safe ride with polished fuelling, light clutch and decent ride quality. Steers well through the twistier runs and is a lot of fun right up to silly speeds. Very little engine noise and almost sounds like an electric bikeImage Screen could do with being taller barley lifts wind blast above shoulder height. Fine for short blasts but less so on the motorway. It is less powerful, torquey and built to a tighter budget than the previous cbr 600f but its unthreatening, simple and a solid all rounder.

I do like the CB650F and it does look better than the outgoing Hornet / CBR600f - the 600 has a lot more pep though and can be had at good prices - worth a gander and bags more fun and better quality than the Suzuki ...

I'm prefer the CBR650F to the CB650F. The engine remap to torque should make it friendlier on the road than the out going 600 and brisker in the real world.
