To go or not to go

Post by gingerb » 26 May 2015, 09:25

Gotta go see the olds sometime soon in Oxfordshire - now I was going tomorrow and coming back Frid but having looked at various weather forecasts it going to be a bit windy and rainy. I could well miss all the crap but do I really want to be going down M6 in wind and rain :?: :?: :?:

From Preston way, I'd only take the M6 as far as the M56, then switch to the A49.
At Leominster, I'd them turn left on the A44 and follow that in Oxford/shire.
Much more relaxed and enjoyable on the bike.

Thanks Cab might give that a try - much less boring than the M6 - can I put you as pillion for a satnav  :D

Have you removed the rear wheel balance weights, warped the front brake discs, polished the seat, unbalanced the throttle bodies, replaced the rear sprocket with an eccentric one and do you wear chaps?

It'll certainly heighten the pleasure you get from a good ride and that is the most important thing.
