I am still riding my 1965 250cc Ariel Golden Arrow. Strange looking bike, very distinctive style and fun to ride.

funnily enought i was browsing ebay for a cheap as chips commuter for work and a couple of 250 2 strokes have popped up but something tells me a 2 stroke wont be as chippy cheap

it really is you know, my bantam with a new plug and filter clean does nearly 100mpg and is free to

Yeah go I'll get in on this had 3 2-stroke learner bikes including a Yamaha RXS-100 (100cc bike that did 75mph), followed this up with a RD250E which was great and a Kawasaki KH400 (like the 750 above but smaller) which was bloody awful.

I don't have a 2-stroke now. Thank Christ.
