Used a mates tom tom rider a couple of years ago and always fancied one.
But even used they are expensive.

Ive used my phone but ive found they arent quite as good at keeping a gps signal as a propper sat nav.
And even the apps like co pilot or the tom tom one arent as good.

So the plan is this.
Seen an as new tom tom (for a car) that I reckon I can get for £20.
Cheap waterproof case and mounting kit £9.99
The ktm has an accessory fused supply behind the headlight mask.
Fit a waterproof socket outlet, and get a lead to suit.
Reckon ill be good to go for about £40 all in.

Anyone else using similar.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I have, I use my Garmin in a case I got off ebay. works really well, I have the sound off coz you can't hear it anyway, if your sat nav has bluetooth you can get the sound that way but I can't be arsed, I don't need the sound.

Tom Tom One from about 4/5 years ago has an adapter for handle bar/yoke mounts. Chuck it in a waterproof case and its sound, still won't recognise your fingerprints and will still take you down dead end dirt tracks en route from Keldy Castle to Whitby, winner haha
