Yeah the pegs are in a good place aren't they. I need to ride these exotic bikes before you sell them, lol

Sold that a year ago Image

Only have the Diavel, CX500 bits’a and an R80 now.
Oh well, I'll have to settle for a spin on the Diavel then??? (Worth a try)

Much change bike wise for me.
Got rid of the Harley Sportster (Ended up hating it)
Sold the TRX (Only bike I’ve owned and made a profit on)
Treated myself to a brand new Yamaha XSR 900 a couple of years back. Just love it.
Took it up Scotland with a group of mates that year and managed comfort wise just about, but realised it was no tourer.
Consequently treated myself to a very tidy Blackbird for last years trip. Amazing bike. Even had a three day trip on it with my good lady last summer and she was impressed with the level of comfort.
It passed its Mot last week. All set for this years Scotland trip in May.
Treated myself to a Triumph Speed Triple in January this year. Only managed one decent ride out to the Lakes last week and loving it so far.
The garage is pretty full at the moment. Image
He who dies with most toys wins. Image
I’m sure if I got my act together and had a garage tidy up I could squeeze another little un in there, but I reckon my good lady might have something to say about that.
I might have something to tickle your pickle for the XSR...

A set of SW Motech Legend bags. With mounts for the XSR700 admittedly but you can buy the XSR900 mounts direct.
I paid £550 last year, used them once! Still in the heavy cotton storage bags.
Looking for about £300
Thanks but I purchased some soft luggage for the xsr before doing the Scotland trip a couple of years back. Now use the Blackbird for long trips which came with a full set of Givi luggage.

I still stick my nose in here occasionally but worsening arthritis in my hands means the bikes have had to go. When auto gearboxes are good and appear on the right bikes, I'll do a reappraisal.

Sorry that's happened mate, but still good to hear from you. Have you looked at the Aprilia Mana? They seem a decent enough thing for what they are, but as with many Aprilias they aren't too popular so low milage examples come up as a bit of a bargain at only a few grand

I guess electric bikes might work in a year or two as well, but they're too expensive with limited range at the moment... Depending on your budget the new top spec Zero might be worth a look

Shame that.
Can only think of the vfr1200’s that have a good auto box.

Is the box in the Mana no good? I've ridden neither that nor the vfr1200

Strangely enough my dad was on about this last night. He is looking to sell his GL1000 for an automatic VFR1200 having ridden the NC700 and loved it a few years ago.

Still here, and still on the Intruder,

Pop on now and again to have a nose but spend a fair bit of time offline when not out taking photo's.
