New Bike - which would you choose

Getting a new bike, decided on the street triple 765 r.

I have the choice of 2 and would be interested to see which one you’d go for.

Bike 1
Silver - brand new no miles on the clock. Ordered in for a customer who then cancelled. Silver, no extra’s and will be on an 18 plate.

Bike2
White - 400 miles ex demo bike. Comes with extras of Arrow can and a little extra screen. 17 plate. This bike is £400 less than the new bike.

I’ve heard that the arrow cans are not very loud in the 765’s which is a little disappointing.

Cheers

For that price difference, the new one.
If it were a grand cheaper.....

Yeah, unless you have a real preference on colour I don't think £400 would be enough to swing it for me

I'd be tempted to make a daft bid on the ex demo though - they know they'll need to drop more off it, but if you do this they need to believe if you don't buy the ex demo you'll walk away otherwise there's no incentive for them to drop it (I.e. If they say no you'll buy a new one anyway)

Do you get the OEM cans too? Would you have gone down the Arrows route anyway? How long do you plan to keep it?
I was posed a similar issue when I bought my BMW. I went for a box standard pre registration unridden 850, over a shop tricked up demo 1150.

I didn't ask about the OEM can Cab.

I was thinking about going down the Arrow can route as had them on the 2012 Triple I had and they sounded good. After a bit of research though the new Arrow sounds no different to the OEM can.......so a waste of £615 really.
Plan to keep it for around 3 years.

Not sure what I'm going to do now though.......as the sales lad was supposed to call me back at 5pm yesterday to let me know if the manager would give what I wanted for my trade in...............I'm still awaiting to call!!!!

Well if he's a few hundred short the OEM cans might make the difference in three years time. Have you spoken with the insurance about the surcharge for the Arrows?

If it left triumph with a arrow can then is it classed as a mod ?

A lot will include a number of mods at no extra cost.
Bennetts did with my policy’s.
Recently ive been sure to list them.
Never used to bother but more cautious these days.
