just buy one rob …you can use the excuse the women use all the time …OOOOH I've had it ages !!! i think they are great looking bikes

I remember when the new shape blade came to in 2008,,it looked crap compared to the 2007…but as time moved on it was easy to see that the new model was far superior in looks to the one year old dinosaur it had supersedeed

You can't compare the h2 to the R1. The r1 is a sports bike and the h2 isn't

Have a gander at Piaggio. The RSV4 might be the performance leader in their marque, but which is their top +500cc seller in established Europe. The Moto Guzzi V7.
The YZF-R1M is little more than a marque icon. The sales will flow from the MT range and their derivatives.
Got a link to the stats for piaggio?
Im interested to see their stats as the biggest manufacturer in europe.

What's the H2 if not a sports bike?

It's not a superbike in the sense the supercharger presumably means it can't race in superbike series, but I would have classed it as sporty?

Not sure where I read it now.
It lodged with me MG being my current brand of choice.
I'll see what I can dig out.

H2 falls in the Hyabusa ZZR1400. Category (not my opinion Quoted from the Bike world review) I get what he means tho.

Was probably from the same set of stats that wank over MT0 summats outselling everything, and how appalling BMW are.

Rich, the base model 1299 is almost £1700 more than the R1' given the deal I had on the R1 the 1299 would easily be over 2k more expensive. To be honest I don't think the 1299 is that much of better bike to justify the extra cost.

Don't panic though, I am still very much in the Ducati camp mate, the R1 was bought for racing even you have to admit racing Ducs is very very costly!!
