Im interested to see their stats as the biggest manufacturer in europe.
Not sure where I read it now.
It lodged with me MG being my current brand of choice.
I'll see what I can dig out.
Don't hold you breathe mind.
Was probably from the same set of stats that wank over MT0 summats outselling everything, and how appalling BMW are.

Your so old fashioned..ha ha ha

I just bought one, it's far from ugly mate, you need to remove your ducati tinted glasses.....it's not that far from a panni ....

We fear change dont we rich :)
No way!! When u could of had a 1299
Rich, the base model 1299 is almost £1700 more than the R1' given the deal I had on the R1 the 1299 would easily be over 2k more expensive. To be honest I don't think the 1299 is that much of better bike to justify the extra cost.

Don't panic though, I am still very much in the Ducati camp mate, the R1 was bought for racing even you have to admit racing Ducs is very very costly!!
Did u see the R1 before ordering one and have you been on a 1299 ?

I'm sure it a nice bike but it's not for me

When in a discuss, someone attacks the person rather than the argument, it is a sure sign the insulter is grasping at desperate straws.

Yeh my whole life is taken over with rage over bike sales stats. I've been taking drugs to cope with the depression. Doctor said the only answer was to buy a Guzzi... I broke down in laughter and have been feeling chipper ever since!

Ah, making another dog leg off topic looking to raise a bite? You'd starve if this was real fishing.

Interesting review in this month's "Motorcycle Sport and leisure " magazine. Editor Tony Carter exceeds his and the bikes talents on an Aussie trackday test ride. Nice pic of the him blissfully unaware of the system doing its best to save him just before it dumps him. Would he have pushed so hard without the electronics, probably not.He was after all testing it. Would he have felt the beginnings of the slide had the electronics not hidden it till just before complete failure? Could he have corrected it? Depends if he has more feel then the processor. Anyway, if you're interested in such things it's worth a read.
