Clutch Cable

Post by gmercer1 » 10 Nov 2016, 16:36

Well my clutch cable snapped today!!
Just wondering what I should do. Bought the bike brand new and it's a year and a half old with 8000 miles on the clock.

Should I call the dealer and complain and ask for the money for a replacement cable or is it just tough luck and I have to foot the bill?

Cheers

I'd give them a quick call and see if they are willing help but for what they cost it's not worth being off the road..

They'll side step it saying you did not adequately care for the bike. As Paul says, it ain't mega bucks. £15? Just sort it and move on.

Buy two and route the spare next to one in use.
