ACF-50 is properly good stuff. It will make your bike look like a pile of crap through winter though. It creates a layer that holds all the crap off the roads but it wont get through to your bike. It's water proof too, so one coat lasts you the winter. Unlike the scottoiler that washes off pretty easily.

Can't go wrong with it really. Seeing as it was made to stop the sea spray erroding planes/helecopters on air craft carriers.

It's a yes from me.

Commuted all year round for last 8 years and used it. Keeps bike looking great once the salt season goes and you wash the bike down. As mentioned keeps a barrier between your bike and the salt, so well worth it.

There is a company who comes out and washes your bike and covers your bike in ACF50.....think it's allyearroundbiker.com or something?

Good stuff, it's about £18 a tin but lasts a couple of years.. Think it has a shelf life of 3 years so be careful not to buy an old one

I have used it for a few years, I really rate it. I might even try it on my bike :-)
