Perfectly legal to ride a bike / drive a car on the road with no mot.
Done it loads of times.
Police cant even issue a fine let alone take it.
Have to admit i wouldnt know where you stood with regards sorn.
Maybe the tax is no longer valid due to no mot so needs sorn?
Bloody minefield with the tax going online and the insurance continuous insurance enforcement.
Id say cab is possibly right.

The only time you can use a vehicle on the road with no mot is if you are taking it to a pre booked test or returning from one .Plod can give you a 100 quid fixed penalty on the spot for no mot.
