Look after your chain

Post by Stumoores » 19 Sep 2016, 12:00

My mate had a moment yesterday when his chain let go on the motorway. Fortunately itImage flung clear after smashing up his back end and whipping his left Arse cheek. Lucky lad.
Revving the bollox off it since 1982

No wonder!
Look at the tide line of crud registering where the chain plates stop on the sprocket.
Self inflicted that.
Hope you gave him a proper ar$€ ripping.

Then clean it. Paraffin and a soft brush is all it needs. Gentle blow off and a fresh dose of lub after.
