Hope i can just fudge it for a year or so.

I'll pretty much guarantee you they'll know who's got them jobs before they're advertised such is the way of SCS.

the advert says fast-track hgv or bike examiner. HGV one is better pay.

I don't hold a full cat C+E license though. Besides, I'd rather work with bikers 8-)

Get that job and you'll have to ride like a saint. 6 points and there'll be an inquest.

I think you must have a mean steak in you to do this job, those that like
to be helpful need not apply , last year a young motorcyclist .. at St Helens turned up
on the day of his test and was knocked back ... the weather it was raining.
I suppose the examiner couldnt be a _ _ _ ed getting wet .... how cruel.

It made this forum I remember reading it, Lads dad went ape ...still there
are some out there

i did both of mine at St.Helens, mod 1 in pouring rain and blowing a gale.
My mod 2- it started snowing and the lady followed me in a car.

I wouldn't take someone out in silly string wind nor icy conditions but ewt else, Yeah, part of being a biker. But its not to test your ability to juggle everything standing on one leg/ its the bare minimum assessment of your toad craft and ability to ride to the road :)
