I keep wanting to like the cb1000r but the bit that wraps around the bottom of the tank in front of the seat spoils it for me.

I'd say go for the one that really does it for you - the Suzuki seems great - I've got a CB1000R but the brand new price of £10k is a bit steep (should be £8.5k as it has been in the past) , although the build quality and reliability really is excellent.
I do like Suzukis though and their GSXR range speaks for itself.

I actually like that bit as it is functional. Means your tank doesn't suffer zip, pop stud and buckle scuffs. Ready made tank protector.lee wrote:I like it.
