New gloves ( recommendations )
I'm after some decent but reasonably priced summer gloves, looking at Rst Tractech at £70 but wondered if there are any other in a similar price bracket that would be worth considering....

Do they need to be gauntlet type?
If not I'd strongly recommend the Knox Orsa gloves. Perforated leather and decent armour. I paid £59.99 about 18 months ago. They are the most comfy summer gloves I've had for years and still give good protection.

The only downside is the boa wrist fastening is quite tall so can interfere with the cuffs on some jackets so try them with your jacket on.

They look smart but like you say with my leather jacket I'd have to try them first.. Where did you get them from?jaffa1963 wrote:Do they need to be gauntlet type?

i find gloves vary in size and shape a lot ! So I normally nip to shorrocks or the rocket , see what they have , try them on them source a cheaper price on line….Dianese are really soft leather and break in easy. A Stars are decent and have models in a lot of price ranges. I suppose its what fits and feels right

All the RST gloves I've had have been really comfortable ,but don't last long before the Velcro pulls away from the flaps!
I've found Alpinestars not to be so comfy and really small sizing , I am on Furygan ASF18 at the moment which seem great but are really ventilated so no good until we get some warmer weather

I have rst blade winter gloves but to be honest they haven't had that much use but the quality of them is really good.
So I have treated myself some rst delta 2 summer glove 49.99 from shorrocks Preston.
I have only used them a few times but so far so good and the quality seems really good again and they are nice and comfortable.
I would recommend them.
But as Dave said I would definitely go and try different brands and styles on because they vary so much and then get yourself a good deal on line.

I'll have a look in J&S tomorrow. My leathers are rst so there the obvious choice but I've had and still have them before and fancied a change this time
