Route tracking apps
Hi all, does anyone here use any apps for their phone to track their route? (My phone is android btw)
I dont need anything fancy like speed, lean angle or any of that - just to show where i've been and on what roads (including routes where the roads aren't plotted, e.g. green lanes).
Any recommendations much appreciated!

What's this for? Need to know where the bits that have fallen off your Beemer might be?

Dan most high end garmins have a back track on their navs. So it is possible if you download the garmin app it might be in there

I have a free app called sports tracker it shows where you have been, time taken, average speed etc. We use it mainly when walking but I assume its just the same whatever activity. I had on my Samsung android and now on my Nokia windows phoneBigDan1190 wrote:Hi all, does anyone here use any apps for their phone to track their route? (My phone is android btw)

Just had a look now and it gives you a long list of activity options, not sure what difference it makes tho, the only drawback maybe battery life for a full day out. Unless you can charge on the move??norifan wrote:I have a free app called sports tracker it shows where you have been, time taken, average speed etc. We use it mainly when walking but I assume its just the same whatever activity.
