If I were you I would get a cat d/c low miles bike and start from there. I get what you want from this project, the polishers just don't get it !

I have to say, a full in-depth smudger build thread would be awesome to see again. the cbr thread was the best thread i have ever seen on NWB by miles. good luck to you :)

Even if money isn't as tight anymore, can you please still do as many bodge jobs and as much of the work yourself possible rather than paying people to fix stuff...the banter caused was comedy gold and the whole kitchen painting episode had me in absolute stitches.
