ronny round head over here haha.

Don't go for an AGV K3 SV for sure. I'm a 59cm and i bought an XL lid, i know know how a spot feels before it pops put it that way.

HJC are accommodating and their carbon lids seem to be cheaper to buy now than they used to be.

I bought my last two from The Rocket Centre, said i was paying cash and i refuse to pay the full price, got 20% off, a black out visor for the misses helmet and some free ear plugs. Winner.

Don't get if you don't ask :)
That's the helmet I quite like aswell why not the AGV is the xl a tight fit?

Go and try them all on within your budget, they must fit snug and feel tight as they give loads. Buy the best you can afford and get the sales person to give you a deal there's always a few quid to knock off.

Need to try a few on as others have said. Different manufacturers shells are different.
Buy for the best fit. You are going to be wearing it for a while and 20 mins of a poorly fitting helmet is not fun.
As others have suggested go to a shop with a good selection and try a few. One or two will suit better.
I tend to just buy the plain version of the helmet rather than one with graphics.

If you want to know how safe it is go to the Sharp website and see if the ones you are looking at are on there. That can give an indication of how your head would be if god forbid you come off. :)
