Progress of sorts. I only got back from Carlisle yesterday so it's been a bit slow lately. Has anyone got a leather upholsterer they can recommend for my saddle ?

I know a guy in Runcorn i used to work with at Arriva who does bespoke seats but the only work i've seen from him has been old skool Harley type seats for their soft tail bikes in saddle leather- embossed and stitched, ie;

I rang the Preston outfit today. They know what they're on about so I think I'll give them a whirl depending on price as they wouldn't even give a ball park figure ? Image

Fork lowers look great, did you have them powder coated too or just sprayed up?
Your project is miles ahead of mine, yet to strip my engine to find out which shell has seized and what size they are, honda had colour coded ones i believe :/ ergo balancing the shims instead of balancing the cam shaft.

Your mechanical skills are way ahead of mine Will ! Thank fook it didn't need any major work. It's all coming to a slow halt for the Christmas family time now tho. After I rebuilt my forks I rubbed down (p800) then used etch primer and finished off with hammerite satin black. Only a rattle can but spraying IS in my skill set ! ImageImage

That tank filler been trying to source a totalled honda NC30/35/23/29 cbr400/500/800 tank to cut out their filler and weld into the cx tank as the deluxe has a horrible one. Yours is stunning, looks bespoke.

This powder coating must me 0.5mm thick. I've spent all morning tapping out and emerying mating surfaces. ImageImageImage
