Rain and visors

Post by Miss Fix It » 31 Mar 2015, 17:33

Right I always manage to be out when it rains. Hate the rain staying on my visor until I wipe it or shake my head for a while whilst looking like a nobhead. Seen something when I was at motorcycle live that you put on your visor and the rain comes straight off. Am I just imagining things or is there something? I've heard washing up liquid on the inside stops it fogging but that's not the problem

I've been called many things in my life and I have to admit that "easy" is probably one of the nicer ones

Watch out for some products like rainx which may affect life of visors. I've been shat on by lots and lots of soddening rain too and swear by Nikwax visor proof http://www.nikwax.com/en-gb/products/pr ... ductid=248" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; got mine from amazon for about £7-8

Works for me

ride faster so the wind blows it off ;)

on a more serious note, ive found mr sheen / generic furniture polish does a pretty good job of making rain bead off.

needs re-aplication every couple of rides though.
