Gasket set came so I've started the rebuild. Image
I fitted the taper bearing set without reading up on the cx forum 1st ! Turns out you need a 3.9mm thick spacer on the yoke stem before the bottom bearing goes on. I damaged the dust seals removing them and had to beg pyramid parts for 2 new ones. Anyway I've turned the spacer on the lathe and fitted if all back together. Swinging arm going on tomorrow. Then the wiring starts.

Cx500forum.com yes on tapatalk. Mainly Americans. Lots of "keep it original" types and "Know all" tossers. But well worth the effort.
