There is a simple mod for this.
You lean forward.
You knob end, by the nature of bars vs clip-ons you will be more upright and therefore the weight further back...

Thats the whole point of them! :P
Thought they were to help people with vaginas to hold on to gay sports bikes

The men hold onto normal bars.

mozzersaints wrote:Well im thinking of putting bars on the blade instead of clipons, iv found a company that do a conversion, has anyone done this? The conversion allows the fairing to remain intact but i would have to trim the screen a little(and by which i mean carl) it would mean i could keep a fully faired sports bike and the comfort of a sports tourer. My question is has anyone done it?

Before anyone says buy a sit up i dont want to, it would mean selling the blade, then having to put some.more money to it for a bike im finding less and less time to ride so has anyone done it? Advice on how good or bad it was if you have done it would be awsum
Just sell it and get a 900 Hornet.

nice idea mozz, its been done on lots of bikes , the main reason being to get yourself upright abit more…i know a few BMW lads have taken there S1000rrs to http://www.motorcycle-road-and-race.co. ... onversions plenty of pics on here ,some blades too .

Some one with a little knowledge will sort it easy enough. As Gixxer D says the cables , and electrics need extending along with longer brake hoses. you dont really want to be bolt upright at 90 degrees, this can give back problems in the lower spine, just a very slight tilt forward ,its just a case of adjusting the new bars to fit you .

Yeah the kit iv found provides everything apart from the bars, 200quid ish.

I've got a Renthal bar if you want it, nice and wide for your broad shoulders. ;)
