Welcome bud

St Anne's bike meet on a Monday - as far as I know it runs all year, it used to. Pretty miserable ride however you get there but good turnout in decent weather - http://www.fyldebikemeet.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There's a 'biker cafe' just outside St Anne's / Blackpool too - heard a few say they like it but never been in myself - https://m.facebook.com/CoastRidersDiner/?locale2=en_GB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Knott End bike meet on a Wednesday - not bad roads on the way over, and you can continue up to Glasson Dock to make it a bit longer. Only through summer I believe -organised by the cafe http://www.knottendcafe.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then there's Caton, Devil's Bridge and Hawes over the weekend if you want to go a bit further

Of course riding like a twat on the road is a bad idea anyway, book yourself a trackday for that to get it out of your system, but keep close eye on your Speedo on biker meet nights, especially on a nice summer night

Enjoy, and stay safe :)

Just careful you don't get into a cat and mouse chase, people do stupid speeds near the bridge. Problem is it's really easy to go fast on any modern bike - a kid could do it - but correcting it when things go wrong is another matter, and if you're simply going too fast (like lots do) you can't defy physics

Go at your own pace and enjoy it :)

Well done on passing, i'm up at the Lytham meet most times when i get a monday off, always a decent turn out and as states it moves to Coast Riders cafe, 50's/60's style American type place.

Devils bridge is alright too, went swimming in the river in june- lovely way to pass the time Image
