NEW MEMBER, NEW BIKER.....almost

Post by Goosecipher » 27 Jan 2017, 20:56

Hi all,

Passed my test a few months back as a result of what I believe is called 'Mid-Life Crisis', not yet got a bike but looking to take the plunge in the next month or so. Thought it would be a good idea to join this and hopefully benefit from the wealth of experience that the group must have.

So just thought I'd stop by and say 'Hello!'

As I'm not the smallest person in the world, in fact my stomach has it's own equator, I think I'm going to plump for the adventure tourer style, probably a V-Storm 650 or maybe a Tiger 955i. With my also advancing years, I guess this type would be more comfortable. Let the urine extraction, commence!

Looking at those two bikes, I would hope the Transalp is in the equation too. Good choices as a starter bike.
