I was only saying it's a great looking machine. 1 I won't be able to afford it and 2 I won't be allowed to ride it for a few yrs. But I do take on board all you are saying and there are a lot of choices. This is just one fab one but not to me.....yet?

Yep I'd agree with whats been said, 125 to R1 you'd miss out on all the awesome bikes inbetween.
I sold my SV650 a while ago and reckon its one of the best value for money bikes out there. Looks good, easy to ride, cheap to run and fast enough to boot. Got a Street triple R now and sometimes I still regret selling the SV it was that good.
