Correct!

To be honest, I've seen it a few times when going via the weston point expressway and orbited it many times in various light aircraft at my time at Liverpool Airport!

Wanted to get a shot of the bike infront of it but the approach road is gated shut :(

if you go behind the airport and Right past the old viewing car park/mud patch there is a cutting through the bushes wide enough for a car. You can drive/ride down and onto a beach, go Left and you can get all the way to the light house.
We used to fish there a lot in the winter for big Cod and in the spring for Sea Bass, lively spot that is only really used to dump stolen cars these days.

The part where you parked is always used for dogging at night, me and my ex would drive down, let the cars tyres down with chippy forks and then bang on the windows and start screaming, tis safe-harmless and uber free fun watching two baked randoms trying to get away in a car with flats hehehehe Image
Or in summer just throw freezing cold water balloons through the windows

The Old Viewing Car Park/Mount/Mud patch is now gone unfortunately, and the cutting through the bushes has a gate/concrete blocks blocking vehicles from heading that way (even further along there's big concrete blocks), they've just spent a fair bit sorting the path out as well.
