New bike

Post by J..R » 13 Dec 2017, 13:38

Hello,

Just a quick snap of the new bike, its a 2002 Suzuki Intruder VL125LC, which I rode home today from Horwich.

Image

The bike itself was down as a Cat D from a slow speed slide, with a slight scratch on the top exhaust, mudguard & peg, but the paint is going to be sorted over Christmas & the scratch/peg will be done as soon as possible.

Future plans for the bike are to fit twin spotlamps on either side of the main light, set of panniers, crash bars & a rear seat/bar.

Good buy their mate. As for crash bars - always a good investment :D

Its quite a deep blue in all honesty, but depending on how the light is on the day it quite often looks a much lighter blue.

I should have a pillion seat arriving in the next few weeks, although I'm still on "L's" it'll be so I can put the bag which I use for the airshow on without scratching the paint work.

Also in the next few months it should hopefully sound better, as I'm really hoping on keeping this bike for quite a while so going to spend a bit of money on it in either a new set of downpipe's or have something custom made up for it (as well as going for the full test), as well as a few other things mentioned above.
