Glad you realise that there is still life in the old dog...................Now stop giving cheek to your elders !Cabernet wrote:Perhaps, but the extra un-sprung mass would detract from the nimble ride the small blocks enjoy. Detail such as this allows the Guzzi small block shafty range to box above their weight in the real world. At your tender years you should try one.cupidstunt wrote:Probably doesnt need it but it would look so much better with twin discs on the front just sayin

Re: Oh yes.
What, like the CARC single sided swing has been known to fail and some to explode.rumpoldstilskin wrote:do you know something i don't?Cabernet wrote:Lucky escape then.rumpoldstilskin wrote:I like, nearly bought this a few months ago;

There is about 13 revision of clutches on the CARC models alone.
The cams are made of chocolate and have a habit of taking out the bottom end.
There is a open letter to Gamabalunga ( the UK club mag ) on the matters and the companies long term commitment to correct these faults long out of normal warranty.
Basically, if it has a single sided swing connected to a Moto Guzzi, I'm walking the other way.
The old big block, the new crusiers and the small blocks seem sound enough.
