Thanks Pip,
There's quite a few I'm not happy with due to the settings I have to use i.e night football games due to the high iso you need to use :( .

I'll keep that in mind Smudger, to be honest its Ideal enough as it is, the only thing I'm considering when the chain & Sprockets are due is changing the size to get a bit more top end out of it.

Booked in for its first service today at 3pm in Warrington so here's to another 700KM of motoring!

Its brill when you first get on the road and get some independence, I can remember like it was yesterday(42 years) me and mi mate getting mopeds at sixteen within a few days of each other, we went from Oldham to Huddersfield and felt like we had gone to the other side of the world. Haha. So where were the pictures taken then??
I'm also from Oldham (originally the Glodwick area).
I had a FS1E with a silver Eagle on a black tinted fly screen around the same time (1973/74).
Unfortunately I have no bike photos from then.

The longest ride I had with some of my mates back then was to Blackpool. That took quite a while.

Coincidence that cos my mate fastened a sort of silver eagle emblem type Thing to the front mudguard of his fsie for some strange reason? August 1973 we got ours, I had a Honda SS50 from Alan Taylors at rochdale, dog slow it was

Got my 'Fizzy' in November '73, second hand for £110 & sold it for the same when I turned 17 a year later.

Mine was an early one which were actually named SS50 until Honda kicked up a fuss & had Yamaha rename them to what then became the FS1E.

I had a couple of mates who had the Honda SS50, one was red & the other was blue.
Theirs couldn't keep up with Fizzys either.

When I decided to get a bike last year, I first looked at Fizzys, but decent looking unrestricted ones go for £5000 plus these days.

£5k?! Bloody hell, wish I'd kept hold of my FS1E now!
Apparently if I'd kept all my old bikes and the gaggle of Mk1 & Mk2 Escorts I had over the years, I'd be minted now!

Yeh my mates was the one with SS50 on the side panel not FS1E. I have a RD400 & a CB175 now as well as my modern CB1100 & a CB200 ongoing restoration project

Hi John

Have you still got the Lexmoto Arizona, and what are your thoughts/review after two years ownership?

Old thread, I know, but was lurking on John's profile and wondered about the newer Lexmoto's.

Hi Paul,

If you give me a little while I'll let you know properly, currently getting ready to go to blackpool for apotential title winning game.

Short version though, had a problem with the side stand kill switch but thats disconnected, and it dropped 3rd gear just before christmas. New engine for £100 compared to the proce i was quoted for splitting amd rebuilding.

No other problems though
