So last night I flushed the engine properly a few times added fresh oil. Tinkered around gave the motads a quick paint and took her for mot today and she failed and one advisory,
Advisory was because I left a cracked mirror on and the fail was the front tyre below 1mm one thing I over looked as they looked like there was plenty of life in them so no mot now till Tuesday as no were stocks 18 inch tyres near me

So past few weeks I've been sorting a few niggle bits took the pan out on Saturday and she but a big smile on my face, engine seems solid clutch has some slip on high revs so I'll just change the full clutch also running rich, 4 parts of fairing need ordering mirrors should be sorted this week so I will be looking into stripping her down in next couple of weeks and getting her rebuilt

So the scrap final drive is now apart Image
Bearings are fine spline and teeth have minimum wear but we're is the seal I'm sure on the shiny silver part there is suppose to be a very expensive seal but seems to have some sort of gun gasket.
Have to get other apart and check seems like I can do the repair with my final drive still attached to bike so that's a bonus

Anyone know how to get a rear off floor on a pan without center stand as I don't think there's a rear paddock stand that will fit

I'm sure she is to heavy for this method

You would be surprised what you can lift with the patented benny method.
The steps are the limiting factor.
Dont forget your not lifting the whole bike.
Maybe 50% of its weight.
Like using a wheelbarrow.

Or just push it over on its side and work away?
