What size bolt?

Have you tried a thin walled 3/8 drive ?

Yes I tried everything from turbo bolt extractors to impact driver only option now to drill out..

Question I ask if I grind back the head were bolt is so there is no head under it will the sudden loss of pressure allow the bolts to come out easier or will they just be as stubborn as another head 30-50 eBay compared to new engine or even new crank case and pistons I'm not bothered if I need damage head I don't really want to dril

Couldn't get head off snapped two easy outs on the bolts managed too Paul the valve up that extra so put back timed up started there's a tapping noise re took cams out all shims seated correct so looks like the valve has become shorter when it hit so I'll need to see if it can be shimmed to compensate if not it's going to be a new engine on the plus side the run off smoke and high rev smoke has gone...
