So tonight started rebuilding everything tightened header bolts up blowing gone carbs sat on properly tightened up re routing pumps and wires. Oh wait forgot to tighten rocker covers bang one gone bang too gone. Oh crap you know when you fook thread on one hole stop realise what went wrong you bought three different torque wrenches nope I thought other would tighten it down so down tools and now we're on hold till I can get hold of a helicoil kit..

But I did give that throttle a bloody good thrash and @the lads I ride with no more blue smoke she is cured lol well apart from the drips on exhaust from rocker gasket so looks like my problem is solved roll on weekend it's been s while since I rode her

Got a lot done today got rockers on some other bits degreased the engine, fired her up to do some final adjustments got her purring like a kitten well more a lion lol. Noticed smoke was coming from right side engine give it some revs got worse oh no I've fooked something switch off could not see any leaks so took heat Shields off and yep you guessed it there was small amount of oil still on frame slowly dripping on exhaust so the raving caused vibration. Obviously sending bigger drips all cleaned off commenced a bit of putting back together ImageImage

Looks like you've done a great job there.

And a big plus... No RED kitchen!
