Excellent update... Bet you can't wait to get her finished. How long do you think it'll take now? Not that it matters, but hopefully before winter comes back

Hi mate, yeah I'd like to ride it this year but there's still lots of bits that add up, not necessarily difficult things, but £££ consuming things so I'm just doing what I can month on month.

Get fairings on and dash soon then get it on the dyno, throw some paint at it and it'll be rideable but I'm not sure how much of a twat it'll be to insure and might take time getting an agreed value?? Not sure. I can't see how I'll be comfortably covered otherwise.

Then there's getting the V5 updated, bound to be a ball ache.

When you've finished you'll be bored I recon, so I'll let you make me an Aprilia RS250 with an XT660 engine? Cheers mate

Not how I see it... Take a screaming highly strung beauty, leave her looks and handling intact, but replace her heart with a reliable road friendly beast :)

Yeah, without the beauty or class of the Aprilia imo

My Yamaha SZR660 is similar, just love the look of the RS250
