Here are some pics of my turbo project which is nearly finished. Just ironing out some little issues before I take it to OTC for maping. main problem has been oil syphoning from the oil cooler back to the turbo cos it's a lot higher. This caused it to spit fresh oil from the exhaust on every start up. A simple relief valve which holds back 2 psi on the oil feed should sort that.couldn't work out how to post all pics in one go .

Here a pic of the falco with a mille swing arm . It's a very popular upgrade on the aprilia forum and it's a straight swap and they are only about 100 quid for a good on on egay

Wow! Going to be a bit of a beast. Going for the sleeper look or all out 'look at it'.
How's it effected your insurance?

Yeah should be an awesome ride. The falco is a semi naked bike away but I think it looks better with a bellypan which will help to keep shit off the turbo. Insurance isn't a lot more. I havnt told them yet but my r1 turbo was about 550 a year full comp. This is what it was like Pre turbo.

Making some good progress with the falco now. Just getting all the tiny details sorted before it goes to OTC for mapping cos Pete closes the shop and fucks off to the tt for 3 weeks.
set the tps cos it was out.
upload a home made map to the power commander so I can ride it to the mot
adjust the carb sync screws to factory setting.
set fuel pressure.
I wanted to start it up this evening to get it idling smoothly but it's a bit late and it is very loud. Got a problem with a neighbour who works nights. Can't run it in the day cos it wakes him up and can't run it in the evening cos it wakes his kids up. He is a real moaner. I can't win

Haha lock the garage door and ignore the bugger :)

Great news on your insurance then and the fact that it's basically done. Come rebuild mine?

I'm lucky my neighbours are fine, ones a petrol head and comes to help and drink my tea and the other is a MILF who likes bikes :) got mine running tonight finally, wahey :)

Yeah woody I could do your but this one's took me nearly fuckin years.
with work and the kids and wife I only get a couple of hours a week to work on it. When they did your big bore do they raise the compression.
